A Sappy Title?

Products Used~ CTMH CS & Felicity, Cricut Cartridge Printing 101 with Shadow, Heart & Circle Rhinestones

 It's very seldom Charlie & I have a picture taken of us together, much less one I like. This photo i liked and  really wanted to scrapbook it. Coming up with a title, well, he's my husband and we're still  in love after 12 years... a no brainer.... ROFLOL I do need to journal the date yet, and maybe some on the back.
Anyhoo, I love this Special Paper Pack w/stampset  Felicity that CTMH is running right now.   And with all the fall pics we had taken. It will work perfect, so I'll be doing a few more pages using it.
Well i must mosey on. I have my granddaughter's today and one heck of a mess in my Korner.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day friends!

O Christmas Tree

Products Used~ CTMH CS, SS. Holiday Trinkets~ DP My Minds Eye Penny Lane, SU Border Scallop Punch,  Ink Ponderosa Pine, Bling Stars.

Are you ready for Christmas?  My boys are counting the days.
When i made this card i could not think up a title, and i really didn't want to add one to the card. When i posted it, some titles came to  me, such as "Wonder" and "O Christmas Tree"  So I found the lyrics and thought i would post them....  Sing along. : )
We are pretty much ready for Christmas day. We are doing things a little  different this year. Stepping out of our usual Christmas Tradition.... Mark & Christyl and the grandkids usually come here Christmas morning, we open gifts together and have a nice breakfast. Well, this year we're going to their house. How fun!
 As a kid we always had Christmas on Christmas morning. We never celerbrated  on Christmas  Eve. Mark & Christyl celebrate with his family  Christmas Eve.
Anyway, I probably won't be back with a card or page anytime soon, so I thought i would leave you with a pic our our tree. This past weekend we painted that side of our livingroom and put our tree up. Micah was so excited, just waiting for the painting to be done. He's the one reaching.

 O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

Thy leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
From base to summit, gay and bright,
There's only splendor for the sight.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
Thou bidst us true and faithful be,
And trust in God unchangingly.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee! !"

Merry Christmas To All & Have a Blessed New Year!

Skiing anyone?

Products Used~ CTMH CS, SS Snow Fun, SU Border Scallop Punch, Snowflake Papers /Brads?? Gel Pen,  White Pigment Ink, Copic Markers.

The first time i ever went  cross country skiing was with my friend Carol in the  mid 90's {she passed away in April 2009} We were at Evergreen Park. The road  in the park has lots of turns and hills. I was skiing on flat ground at the time, minding my own business when this guy out of nowhere comes skiing down the hill, his dog pulling him with a rope. Well, guess who got caught up in the rope and a tree... Me... We laughed about it. But I never went skiing  again after that. I have to admitt. This image did bring back some great memories.  I envy people who can ski so well. I would rather ski on water. :)
Yesterday was Sams 10th BD and today is Charlie's BD. We celebrated last night with Mark, Christyl and the girls. Sorry no pictures. This is a busy time of year for me. As I'm sure it is for most of you. I feel so stressed right now, it shouldn't be that way. I  need to get on my treadmill!! I know that would help a lot.
We are mudding, priming and painting our livingroom. {ceiling have done} Hoping to be done with half of it by Christmas.{it's 2 rooms}  It hasn't been painted in 10 years. I can't wait to see some color other then white!  :)
Are you done Christmas shopping?? I'm not. Going this weekend.
Anyhoo, I better get some stuff done. Thank you for your visits and  kind words. It means a lot to me! Have a great day!!

Happy Birthday Christyl

 To my beautiful daughter Christyl Jean who is 34 yo today. You came into the world 6 weeks early, weighing in at... 4lbs 4 oz 18" long. short.
You will always be my miracle, and  you will always be my baby girl.  You have such a peaceful and gentle spirit. It's such a blessing to see you become a loving wife, to Mark  and mother too, two beautiful  gorgeous daughter's of your own.  And now 5 months pregant with a son.... Ian Jerome
I love you Christyl,  I'm very proud of the  beautiful women you have become !!
 Love, Mom

Christyl 1 year old 1976. My parents house at the time. She was sick with a cold and pink eye.

I got to go home from the hospial  3 days after she was born. Christyl had to stay 18 days. That was hard,  I went to see her and feed her everyday. I had to get a ride from friends. {I had no drivers  license}... It was a 15 mile drive. She had to weigh 5 lbs before i could bring her home The nurses didn't want to give her up. They got so attached to her. So did I, even at such a young age.

I'm about ready to start putting colored CS or Pretty Papers in my light box. I can never get my background to look bright white.

It's still fall....

But there's 3 to 5?? inches of snow on it's way. Yikes, these shots were taken yesterday. We took about 100 pics. deleted a bunch. I love digital! Love the back drop too!
This background would have been much prettier with the fall colors in full bloom, I think this will be our new fall location next year. {the Quarry}
I'm planning on using some of these shots for our Christmas cards.
Today would have been a much better picture day. It's snowing!
Please enjoy! :) I'm happy with the way they turned out.
Thanks Christyl!!
